Nitish blasts Narendra Modi, says merger will take place

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Stating that the merger of parties of Janata Parivar would definitely take place former chief minister Nitish Kumar said on Friday that prime minister Narendra Modi is anti-poor amd detest the expressions‘samajwad’ (socialism) and ‘dharam-nirpekch’ (secularism). Speaking at a function in Silaya, Aurangabad district, where he went to unveil the statue of former MLC, Shankar Dayal Singh, he referred to the reported move to drop the words


Secularism and Socialism from the Constitution.Hitting out at what he called the anti-poor policy of the
Narendra Modi government Nitish said that it is dancing to the tune of the big corporate houses. As the central government is serving the purpose of rich and affluent sections and are busy spreading communalism the BJP leaders can not tolerate socialism and secularism.Referring to merger Nitish said that “we are all coming together. There is no difference whatsoever on challenges to secularism, socialism, unity of country, etc though there may be some political differences.”


The senior Janata Dal (United) leader also said that on the martyrdom of Bapu (Gandhiji) “we should not let the country become weak and divided.”
