Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday called on former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi at the latter’s residence. Among other things they chalked out plan to jointly campaign for the coming election for 24 seats of the legislative council.

The close door meeting lasted for about two hours.

Sushil Modi later said that he had gone to Manjhi’s residence to congratulate him for his decision to join the NDA for the coming Bihar election. He said he dis-cussed current political situation in Bihar.

SuMo said he urged Manjhi to campaign for NDA nominees in the coming election and he agreed to the proposal.

Sushil Modi said at present they are concentrating on Legislative Council election only.

As reported the BJP is contesting in 18 seats in the Council election while LJP has fielded candidates in four and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) in two seats.
