Manjhi questions Nitish cabinet’s decision to implement his 34 agenda

Patna,(BiharTimes): Strongly flaying the chief minister Nitish Kumar former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Wednesday questioned the decision of the state cabinet to implement, what he said ‘modified’ versions of 34 decisions taken by his government in the last three cabinet meetings.

Manjhi asked why was those decisions cancelled shamelessly after Nitish Kumar became the chief minister on February 22. Now he is implementing them slowly and gradually.

It needs to be recalled that the Nitish Kumar cabinet had in its very first sitting cancelled all the decisions on 34 issues on the plea that they did not conform with the laid down rules of cabinet.

Manjhi said his government had decided to pay salary of 13 months to policemen from Inspector down to constable ranks, but Nitish Kumar has omitted the Inspector rank from it while giving green signal to it.
Similarly it decided to give reservation to various categories, including OBC women in tender for road construction works of upto Rs 25 lakh which the Nitish Kumar cabinet reduced to Rs 15 lakh.

In the same way, he said, his government’s decision to constitute a panel to look into issue of regularising contractual employees has also been adopted by the present government.

Manjhi gave a Dalit twist by stating that they were implemented after purifying them. “When my decisions were right and in interest of people then what was my fault,” he added.

When he took action against Anant Singh he was removed by Nitish but now he himself was initiating action against the Mokama MLA.
