BJP may get 47 seats in Bihar, internal survey

Patna,(BiharTimes): An internal survey conducted by the BJP after the Lalit Suri episode saw the light of the day revealed that the BJP may end up getting as less as 47 seats in the com-ing Assembly election in Bihar.
According to indiansamvad.co.in the BJP may have to pay the price for the damage caused by Lalitgate in Bihar Assembly election.
The party’s and prime minister Narendra Modi’s image have seriously been dented after the alleged involvement of Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje and others in the Lalitgate.
The weak position of the BJP may prompt the allies to put more pressure on the saffron party and may demand more seats.
In the last Assembly elections, the JD(U)-BJP alliance got 206 seats out of 243. The BJP won 91 out of 102 it contested while JD(U) 115 out 143.
It is because of this weakness of the BJP that the RLSP leader and Union minister of state Upendra Kushwaha recently de-manded 67 seats for his own party and 74 for the LJP leaving just 102 for the saffron party to contest.
