Nitish rubbishes reports of differences with Lalu 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Before leaving for New Delhi to attend the Iftar party of Congress president Sonia Gandhi Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday denied that the media reports that differences have cropped up with RJD chief Lalu Prasad after results of Legislative Council election.

He said he had decided to attend the Iftar party of Sonia and not of Lalu Prasad, which coincided because he got invitation first form the Congress president. There is absolutely no differences whatsoever with Lalu Prasad.

As he had got invitation first from the Congress president he planned his Delhi visit accordingly. He said even RJD chief asked him to attend the Iftar party of Sonia Gandhi.

Rubbishing all speculations Nitish said he would have to fly to New Delhi on Monday afternoon for a host of engagements. The Bihar chief minister would be attending the meeting of Niti Aayog on WednesdayOn Tuesday he may call on the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. The latter has sought appointment to meet him through the JD(U) national general secretary KC Tyagi.

While talking to the media Nitish alleged that the Kejriwal government is being prevented from working by the Narendra Modi government. It can not even appoint Chief Secretary and Secretaries.

“Why should there be an elected state government when it can not have freedom to work or take decision on governance-related matters,” the Bihar CM asked.
