Patna,(BiharTimes): State BJP chief Mangal Pandey on Monday asked as to who got removed H D Deve Gowda and Jitan Ram Manjhi from their posts of prime minister and Bihar chief minister respectively.

In a statement he said that RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and chief minister Nitish Kumar are taking credit for in-stalling a backward and a Mahadalit as the prime minister of India and chief minister of Bihar.

If the state BJP president is to be believed Deve Gowda was removed by Lalu Prasad and Manjhi by none else but Nitish Kumar.

Deve Gowda was actually forced to go after the Con-gress, then led by Sitaram Kesari, withdrew its support to him. He was replaced by Inder Kumar Gujral, also of United Front in 19997.

Mangal Pandey said that the backwards and Dalits are now ready to teach Lalu and Nitish a lesson for the hu-miliation heaped upon them.

Thus Pandey, in a way, accepted that Amit Shah had committed a mistake by claiming that Narendra Modi was the first backward caste PM of the country.
