Patna,(BiharTimes): Former deputy chief minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday accused Prashant Kishor of be-ing involved in a scam worth crores.

Incidentally, Prashant was the brain behind prime minister Narendra Modi’s election campaign in 2014, and Gujarat Assembly poll in 2012.

Sushil Kumar Modi asked as to how can his four month old firm got tender worth crores of rupees.

SuMo charged Prashant Kishor with working from the official residence of the chief minister and interfering in the works of the bureaucrats. He is the de facto principal secretary of information and public relation department.

According to SuMo Indian Political Action Committee is his NGO which is working for the advertisement of JD(U). On the other hand the Bihar government had assigned the work to Citizens Alliance Private Ltd, Noida, the firm floated by Prashant only on February 17, 2015. This firm has the turnover of just Rs one lakh but got the contract of Rs 80 crore.

Political observers are of the view that SuMo’s charge may be right, but it may open a Pandora’s Box as Prashant had been Narendra Modi’s campaign man and the ruling party of Bihar may now counter the saffron party’s charge. Prashant’s Chai Pe Charcha became quite popular last year.
