Bihar to introduce Grievance Redressal Bill in the Monsoon Session: Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): Four years after the Bihar government enacted Right to Services Act in 2011 to ensure timely disposal of applications the state government would introduce the Grievance Redressal Bill in the Monsoon Session of the state Assembly and enact a law that would further strengthen the rule of law.
This was stated by chief minister Nitish Kumarm, while releasing the report card of his government on Monday. This would be the last Session before the state goes to the poll.
According to the chief minister nine departments and 51 services were covered under the Bihar Right to Services Act, and results in the last four years have been encouraging. Over 10.21 crore applications were received and 10.14 crore of them disposed of. Thus the disposal rate of applications under the Act has been over 99 per cent, he said.
Bihar is the only state in the country that will have an Act to ensure timely disposal of complaint.
