Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bhagalpur police on Saturday arrested  four persons, including a married woman, in connection with  Rs 49 lakh bank dacoity in Bhagalpur district. What is  amazing is that the dacoity was committed in the main branch  of Bihar Regional Rural Bank at the Clock Tower Chowk on May  26 to pay the dowry of Rs 10 lakh.

Dilip Yadav, Bipin Yadav, Sattan Yadav and Ruchi Devi, eldest  married daughter of Kanhaiya Yadav alias Prabhunath, were  arrested from Ramchnadrapur village and Danda bazaar  localities under Goradih block in Bhagalpur district.

Kanhaiya is said to be the mastermind of the loot. He is  still at large so is his ‘samadhi’ (Ruchi’s father-in-law),  Kameshwar Yadav.

The police team recovered Rs 3.97 lakh from a refrigerator in  the house of Ruchi Devi, whose husband Mithlesh Yadav, is a  history-sheeter. He is also on the run. According to the police Kanhaiya conceived the plan to loot  cash from the bank for the marriage of his youngest daughter  with the son of one Rudal Yadav of Ramchandrapur village  under Goradih block. The dacoity surprised the police top brass in Patna too with  DGP, P K Thakur, taking personal interest in it
