SuMo questions Bihar govt’s wisdom in sending officers to Delhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Even as deputy superintendent of police, Sanjay Bharati, expressed his inability to take up the new assignment inDelhi on medical ground senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi strongly criticized the state government for sending six of its officers on therequest of the Aam Admi Party government.

Talking to the media on Tuesday SuMo said that at a time when the three premier anti-corruption units–– state vigilance unit, statevigilance bureau and economic offences wing––have become almost defunct because of shortage of employees the state government is sending its officials to Delhi to be inducted in the anti-corruptionbureau there.

He said that the state government should first think of its own responsibilities of speeding up disproportionate assets cases and arresting more corrupt officials before handing over its officers for the same purpose to another government.

He said there is a provision for inter-state deputation in All IndiaServices but asked does such a provision exists in the stategovernment services?

SuMo also asked how many cases of seizure of assets had been carried out and on how many seized premises of corrupt officials schools had been opened in the last two years after the JD(U) snapped its tieswith the BJP.

Meanwhile, DSP Sanjay Bharati, the senior most officer short-listed for the job in Delhi has expressed his inability to take up the newassignment on medical ground. He is at present posted in Arwal. Nospecific health reason could be known.

Bharati, a 2000 batch officer, has given a representation for a stayon deputation on medical ground.
