Lalu urges partymen to maintain discipline,

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Monday regretted that his party lacks discipline in comparison to other parties.

Speaking to the MLAs, MLCs, party functionaries and workers of six districts of Patna division––Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur–– to chalk out a strategy for the Assembly election Lalu said that when Nitish Kumar stands up to address his partymen there is silence everywhere, but that is always missing in the meeting of his own party. He emphasized on the need for discipline to fight the BJP.

Later, while talking to the media, the RJD chief once again challenged the BJP to declare its chief ministerial candidate or accept that it is ‘nirvansh’ (issueless).

Lalu said he was now sure that the BJP would not declare any chief ministerial candidate to serve its selfish interests and indulge in divisive caste politics and gimmicks in the state as it did during the 2014 Lok Sabha election.

According to him when the BJP leaders would go among the Yadavs they would tell them that Hukumdeo Narayan Yadav would be the chief minister but when they would go to Patna City they would project the local MLA Nand Kishore Yadav, who is opposed to Sushil Kumar Modi, would become the CM.

Similarly, among the Bhumihars they would project C P Thakur while among Rajputs Radha Mohan Singh and someone else among Brahmins, he added.

Lalu was critical of the BJP for repeatedly calling the 15-year long RJD rule in the state as Jungle Raj. Not only that once the JD(U) and RJD joined hands they once again started calling that the Jungle Raj is back. “What they want to do; portray one caste as ‘criminals’,” the RJD chief said adding that this would not be tolerated by the people of the state.

Lalu would hold such meetings of the party in all nine divisions of the state.
