Ram Vilas stonewalls entry of HAM leaders into NDA, calls Narendra Singh ‘gaddar’

Patna,(BiharTimes): In another embarrassment to the BJP Union food minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday stonewalled the entry of five leaders of Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha into the National Democratic Alliance.
Paswan termed former state agriculture minister Narendra Singh, his two MLA sons and two other leaders as ‘gaddar’ (traitors), who backstabbed the LJP in 2005 to join the Janata Dal (United).
Narendra Singh walked away with 18 LJP MLAs to join JD(U). Later after November 2005 election Narendra became the minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet.
Paswan also alleged that Narendra Singh and his sons worked to ensure the defeat of LJP candidate, Chirag Paswan, in at least two of the Assembly constituencies of Jamui in the last year Lok Sabha election. Therefore, there is no scope of Singh and his son to enter the NDA, he asserted.
Like Rashtriya Lok Samata Party the Union food minister too is not inclined towards the induction of Jitan Ram Manjhi into the NDA.
The stand taken by Upendra Kushwaha and Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday came as a major embarrassment to the BJP on the day when its president Amit Shah held meeting with the state party bigwigs to chalk out its future course of action.
