Patna,(BiharTimes): The controversial Janata Dal (United) MLA from Mokama, Anant Singh, was on Wednesday afternoon reportedly taken into police custody. However, the report has not yet been officially confirmed.
A police team reached his official residence to interrogate him. The police have also launched a search operation in his bungalow.
The action came a day after the outgoing SSP of Patna Jitendra Rana said the name of the Mokama MLA figures in the abduction and murder case in Barh.
The police have rounded up a few more people loitering around his residence.
