Nitish, Lalu share dais for first time after projection of CM candidate

Patna,(BiharTimes): For the first time after the last August campaign for the by-election to 10 seats chief minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad shared dais.

The occasion was “Hindustan: Bihar Samagam on Satta Sangram 2015” at Hotel Maurya in Patna on Tuesday to discuss agenda for the state.

This is the first time that the duo came together after the announcement of secular alliance of Janata Dal (United) and RJD and the projection of Nitish Kumar as the chief ministerial candidate of the combine.

Earlier, on two occasions––Kumhar and Nishad rallies––Nitish Kumar did not turn up though invited. On both the occasions Lalu was present.

Nitish Kumar, who spoke first at Tuesday’s programme, called the BJP worst practitioner of caste politics in the country.

He said while BJP accuses JD(U)-RJD of being casteist, the fact is that the saffron party is busy holding the caste rallies and meetings.

The Bihar CM charged the BJP with fomenting communal frenzy to derive votes of majority section, This is dangerous for the country, he added.
