Patna,(BiharTimes): Without taking anyone’s name chief minister Nitish Kumaron Friday de-nied that his government takes decision under pressure from someone.
Obviously referring to the arrest of Janata Dal (United) legislator Anant Singh Nitish said he does not work under pressure, but stick to his
words and style of functioning. He said he had promised development with justice.Talking to the media after the cabinet meeting he, in a way, contradicted BJP, Pappu Yadav as well as Lalu Prasad. While the saffron party and Madhepura MP alleged that Nitish enacted this drama only under pressure from alliance partner the RJD chief too tried to create an impression that he had applied pressure to get Anant Singh behind bars.
The chief minister said that ever since 2005 his government had neither implicated nor shielded anyone. Law would take its own course without any discrimination.
Taking a tough stand he said till he was in power the rule of law would be effectively implemented in the state.
Nitish claimed that the action had nothing to do with the upcoming Assembly election. Whenever any incident takes place, the law would act on it-self.
