Disgruntled Yadav quartet resolve to defeat Lalu, Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): Four disgruntled Yadav leaders of Bihar on Sunday met under the banner of Mandal Vichar Manch at the residence of former MP, Ranjan Yadav, to unanimously pass a resolution to campaign against candidates of the RJD-JD(U) alliance.
Ranjan, who recently resigned from the JD(U), reiterated that Lalu has betrayed the Yadavs by going with Nitish who has cheated both the Yadavs as well as Muslims.
According to Ranjan, Madhepura MP Pappu Yadav is the future of Bihar now, Lalu cannot be the messiah of the Yadav caste.
The four have decided to visit all the 8,500 panchayats spread in 534 blocks of the state to campaign against their candidates.
Apart from Ranjan and Pappu those who took part were former Union minister Devendra Prasad Yadav and former MP Surendra Prasad Yadav.
All the four were once very close to Lalu. Ranjan in fact was the working president of the RJD.
The resolution also states that the leaders would work in favour of candidates of the Hindustani Awam Morcha led by former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and Jan Adhikar Manch of Pappu.
The four ducked the question about joining the BJP by saying that their only mission is to defeat the candidates of Lalu and Nitish.
Political observers are of the view that the coming together of these four leaders of the caste may come as a sigh of relief to the BJP, which is otherwise finding itself in deep trouble.
