Differences crop up in Manjhi camp over Sadhu’s presence during HAM’s fast

Patna,(BiharTimes): Differences appeared to have cropped up in the Hindustani Awam Morcha on Monday when some of its leaders resented the presence of former MP Sadhu Yadav in the fast organized by it to protest the cancellation of 34 of the cabinet decisions of the then Jitan Ram Manjhi government.

However, Sadhu remained unmindful of it and stayed at the venue in Gandhi Maidan till the end.Former minister Narendra Singh came down from the dais to sit on the ground to express his displeasure when Sadhu arrived on the scene. He even went on to say that the Morcha should keep itself away from controversial persons.Several other HAM workers were upset over the presence of Sadhu. A couple of rebel leaders, including legislators, were conspicuous by their absence.

On the other hand Manjhi accused RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav of not siding with the Dalit cause when he used to make tall claims over it when he was in power. He said that on April 20 HAM would be organizing a big rally at Gandhi Maidan. It is likely that Manjhi may float a new party on that occasion. The former CM said that his party would contest 125 seats in the next Asssembly election. Manjhi and all the HAM leaders claimed that Nitish Kumar would have to pay a heavy price for rescinding the decisions taken for the poor people of the state by the then cabinet.
