Patna,(BiharTimes): Jaivardhan, the only son of the Congress party general secretary, Digvijaya Singh, is to marry Sreejamya Shahi, daughter of Shattrundam Shahi of Dumaria estate in West Chaparan district of Bihar. The two are already engaged.

Twenty-nine year old Jaivardhan is a Congress MLA from Raghogarh in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh.According to reports the tilak ceremony will take place on April 21 at Raghogarh, the princely seat of Digvijaya Singh,

The wedding would be held in New Delhi on May 19.Jaivardhan has studied at Doon School in Dehradun and Columbia University in the US. Sreejamya had her schooled at Ajmer’s Mayo College Girls School. She works with a leading chartered accountancy firm Thakur, Vaidyanath Aiyer and Co in Mumbai. The company was founded by former Union minister late Rameshwar Thakur.
