Venkaiah, Radha Mohan project SuMo as BJP’s CM face


Patna,(BiharTimes): Union urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu and agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh on Friday declared former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi as the chief ministerial candidate of the BJP in Bihar. “Delhi mein Modi aur Bihar mein bhi Modi” (One Modi is in Delhi while another in Bihar), said Naidu, while speaking at a cuntion organized to commemorate 25 years of public life of Sushil Kumar Modi.


He accused the Bihar CM of running the state government with the help of useless and corrupt elements like RJD and Congress.People voted Nitish to power for his fight against Congress and Lalu-Rabri misrule but he is now joining hands with the same forces. Naidu held caste politics responsible for the backwardness of Bihar. But the people have an opportunity in the coming election to either elect a BJP government or take a wrong route.


Defending land acquisition bill he said, over 99.5 per cent population would benefit from it. There is no provision for land acquisition by the government for private industry. He asked as to who will benefit from the better rail-road-air connectivity and industries?


Radha Mohan Singh said Sushil Modi is the backbone of governance in Bihar before the split of NDA government on June 16, 2013.He said the next government in Bihar would be formed under his leadership.


Speaking on the occasion Sushil Modi said that the elevation of Rabri Devi as the chief minister of Bihar was the most shocking experience. He asked the partymen and women to gear up for the Assembly election.He came down heavily on chief minister Nitish Kumar for betraying people’s mandate.
