Patna,(BiharTimes): Rajya Sabha MP of Janata Dal (United), Ramnath Thakur on Saturday urged the former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi to return to the party fold and work to strengthen it, especially in this hour of crisis.Making an appeal to Manjhi Thakur, son of former chief minister Karpoori Thakur, said that since he took a decision in anger he should rethink and come back to the mainstream of the party.The Rajya Sabha MP said that Manjhi is a sensible politician, who was provoked by someone to go to this extent.

Thakur praised the leadership of chief minister Nitish Kumar.Thakur is considered close to Nitish and his statement came only a couple of days after another Dalit leader, Ramai Ram, showed sign of rebellion. He resigned from the post of minister in-charge of East Champaran district.
