Parties ‘ready’ for Bihar Assembly election

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Leaders of different political parties said on Sunday that they are ready to contest the Assembly election.

Commenting on the Chief Election Commissioner, Nasim Zaidi’s announcement that the Bihar Assembly election would be held in September and October and the voters’ list would be prepared by July 31 former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that his party is ready for election even tomorrow.

Reposing full faith in alliance partner, Ram Vilas Paswan’s LJP and Upendra Kushwaha’s RLSP he hailed the CEC’s announcement that special efforts would be made to check the money and muscle power in the elections.
He said whether the parties of Janata Parivar fight as a merged entity or in alliance they are bound to lose and the BJP-led NDA government is going to come to power.

“We are ready for poll tomorrow. Ram Vilas Paswan and Upendra Kushwaha are with us. Whether they merge or fight in alliance they are not going to win,” he told the media.Another saffron party leader Shahnawaz Husain said that the dream of Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar is going to be shattered and the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to sweep the Bihar Assembly election.

Nitish Kumar is going to be the chief minister of Bihar for just 15 more weeks.Janata Dal (United)’s Ajay Alok also welcomed the move to curb the misuse of money and muscle power in the election. He
said that his party is fully prepared for the election.

RJD too said that it is fully geared up for the election under the leadership of Lalu Prasad.
Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha MP, Ali Anwar, said that the BJP is going to be routed in the coming Assembly election. He said that the boat of Jitan Ram Manjhi is already sinking. The ‘overweight’ of Pappu Yadav will further drown it deep.
