NaMo’s Chai Pe Charcha man now in Nitish’s tea-party

Patna,(BiharTimes): Prime minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar resemble each other in more than one way. Though they are critical of each other, they copy each other’s style of politics too.

Now they have started hiring the same individual/company for the election campaign. The Janata Dal (United) of Nitish Kumar is wooing Prashant Kishor, the man who came up with the innovative Chai Pe Charcha campaign for Narendra Modi last year.

If he actually joins Team Nitish he would be doing the same work of JD(U) in the coming Assembly election. It is other thing whether Janata Dal (United) remains as it is, or dissolves its identity and merge with the Janata Parivar by then.

Thirty-seven year old Prashant Kishor, originally from Buxar, returned from a UN job in Africa a few years ago to become a key member of the Narendra Modi campaign strategy team. Media reports said that Kishor, though never a BJP member, parted ways from the Team Modi after having differences with
the party chief Amit Shah.

According to Pavan Verma, Rajya Sabha MP of Janata Dal (United), his party will welcome Kishor. The latter has expressed a desire to work with a leader of the future and stature like Nitish Kumar. He is so well versed in social media that he is an asset for whoever he works with, he added.

With 60-odd professionals Prashant Kishor set up the Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) to rouse public sentiment in favour of Modi through social media platforms. But Bihar BJP president Mangal Pandey downplayed the crossing over of Kishor to the rival camp. He said Kishor might be in touch with Nitish. They are professional people and work for money. The BJP has not contacted him. There is no significance of such things.
