Modi flays followers of JP for celebrating his birthday by accepting bribe

Patna,(BiharTimes): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday came down heavily on the self-proclaimed followers of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan for accepting bribe on the occasion of 113th birth anniversary of the great leader.

Referring to the sting operation he said that when he returned from Mumbai last night and switched over to television he saw a Bihar minister Awadesh Kushwaha accepting Rs four lakh as bribe money. Is this the way those who claim to be the followers of JP commemorate his birthday, he asked while addressing an election rally in Jehanabad. He also addressed another election rally in Bhabua.
Without taking anyone’s name the prime minister once again criticized Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad for violating the principles enunciated by Lok Nayak.

He cited the examples of how the Nitish government failed to spend money sent by the Centre for various developmental projects.
