Patna,(BiharTimes): Jailed Mokama MLA of Janata Dal (United) Anant Singh on Wednesday resigned from the party. The resignation has been accepted by the state party chief, Vashistha Narayan Singh.

Party’s spokesman Neeraj Kumar congratuled Anant Singh for leaving the Janata Dal (United) at this stage as the party does not need people like him.

“Mubarak Ho (Congratulations)! It would have been Maha-Mubarak had he left politics for good,” Neeraj said teasingly.

Anant Singh is likely to cross over to the NDA camp. That is why Neeraj said that it would be better for him to have friends like Jehanabad RLSP MP, Arun Kumar, as after his arrest the latter threatened Nitish Kumar that the chief minister’s chest would be smashed.
