Patna,(BiharTimes): The Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday sought the arrest of expelled RJD MP from Madhepura, Pappu Yadav, as a number of criminal cases are pending against him.

Talking to the media the spokesman of the Janata Dal (United) Neeraj Kumar said that in all 17 serious criminal cases are pending against Pappu, who has been provided Y-category security cover by the Union government.

According to Neeraj Kumar he even filed false affidavit at the time of election. As rule of law prevails in Bihar he should be arrested and sent to jail, the JD(U) leader said.
