Ticket seekers throng Nitish’s bungalow, RJD office

Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after the announcement of election dates by the Election Commission a large number of ticket seekers on Thursday thronged the bungalows of chief minister Nitish Kumar and RJD office in Beer Chand Patel.

While some JD(U) aspirants wanted to meet the CM many RJD leaders submitted their bio-data in the party office with the hope that they would get ticket.

The crowd is likely to swell in coming days as the latest pre-poll survey has given a clear edge to JD(U)-RJD-Congress combine.

According to the survey the grand alliance is likely to win 116 to 132 seats and may walk away with 43 per cent votes against 40 per cent by the NDA.

As the grand alliance has finalized the seat-sharing arrangement the crowd outside the offices of JD(U), RJD and Congress is at present stronger than in the offices of NDA constituents.
