Patna,(BiharTimes): The Janata Dal (United) on Monday strongly criticized the Election Commission for dancing to the tune of prime minister Narendra Modi.

“Jab sanya bane kotwal to dark is baat ka,” said Ajay Alok, the party spokesman while alleging that the prime minister is dictating term to the Election Commission.

He said that the Election Commission transferred officials without demanding any panel from the state government.

Ajay Alok said that former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is openly violating the Model Code of Conduct but the Election Commission is looking the other way round. Manjhi is holding four Press Conferences in a day, even at his home, but the Election Commission is ignoring him. He charged the NDA leaders and candidates with brazenly violating all rules and norms.
