Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar would virtually launch his election campaign in Uttar Pradesh from prime minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency, Benaras, on May 4.
Earlier, there was report that he would address a public meeting in the city on April 10.

All top leader as well as workers of JD(U) would be present on the occasion. The party is already discussing its plan to merge with Ajit Singh’s Rashtriya Lok Dal. Efforts are also on to form a Bihar type Grand Alliance with the help of Congress.

However, there seems to be no no scope for Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party in it.
Uttar Pradesh is to go to poll early next year.
