Patna,(BiharTimes): A fan fell down from the ceiling of pandal while chief minister Nitish Kumar was speaking at a meeting of self-help groups in Bhagalpur on Tuesday.
A woman received injury in her eye. She was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
The chief minister had to stop his speech for some minutes because of the din which followed. Nitish was addressing a meeting of Jeevika and most of them who were present were women. The injured has been identified as Manju Devi of Ismailpur village.
While speaking on the occasion Nitish warned of strict action against any officials who are found wanting in proper implementation of prohibition.
