Patna,(BiharTimes): Taking credit for the ban on sale and consumption of liquor in Bihar BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Husain said on Tuesday that instead of bothering about the country, chief minister Nitish Kumar should concentrate on the state.

He got mandate for making Bihar ‘berozgar-mukt’ and ‘bhay-mukt’ (unemployment- and fear-free) Bihar. Yet he has failed in his duty, Shahnawaz told reporters.

Though he had a word of praise for prohibition yet he hastened to add that it could be possible only because of the pressure from his own party, the BJP. He said that throughout the election campaign the BJP demanded ban on sale and consumption of liquor.
