Patna,(BiharTimes): From October 30 Patnaites would get four new flghts for three different destinations––Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved IndiGo’s proposal to operate three flights and GoAir’s plan for one flight.
For the first time there would be a direct flight from Patna to Bangalore. There would be two flights to Kolkata and one to New Delhi.
The total number of daily flights from Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport would increase from 20 to 24.
IndiGo would operate a direct flight to Bangalore. It will depart from Patna around 8.45pm, while another flight would go to New Delhi in the afternoon.
IndiGo and GoAir will operate one flight each on the Patna-Kolkata route in the afternoon.
