SuMo questions ‘minister’ Prashant Kishor’s absence from Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has asked the chief minister to explain as to how can the election strategist of Janata Dal (United) Prashant Kishor work for the Congress party in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, even after enjoying the status of minister in Bihar and getting Rs 9.31 crore for preparing Vision Document for the state.

Talking to the media on Tuesday he said Kishor neither prepared the Document nor discharged his duty as advisor of the chief minister. As an advisor he enjoys the privilege of a minister in the state cabinet.

How can such a person continue to be advisor of the chief minister, he asked.

The leader of opposition in the state Legislative Council said Kishor had been devoting time on drawing election strategy for Congress in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.

According to him, Kishor had left the work of preparing ‘Bihar @ 2025 Vision Document’, for which the Bihar government paid Rs 9.31 crore, to his “Citizen Alliance Pvt Ltd”.

The former deputy chief minister said Prashant Kishor, who had also worked for Narendra Modi in 2012 and 2014 elections, should resign from the post of advisor or the CM should sack him.

Sushil Modi said Nitish Kumar should tell the people as to what suggestions he had given for the development of the state in past eight months.

Prashant Kishor, who is also the member of Bihar Vikas Mission in the capacity of chief minister’s advisor, had not attended the meeting of the Mission on May 31, he added.
