Patna,(BiharTimes): After skipping two Opposition meetings in Parliament on Monday and Tuesday mornings former JD(U) president Sharad Yadav attended another meeting held on Tuesday afternoon. He was also present in a similar meeting on Wednesday.

On Wednesday he was even teased in Rajya Sabha by finance minister Arun Jaitley, who interrupted Sharad to say that he was taking a different line than the party chief Nitish Kumar. Upon this Sharad retorted has all the BJP leaders the same view on the issue?

Though Sharad said that he could not attend the Monday meeting because he was away to Pune,  his presence in the opposition meetings have once again raised the issue of likely rift in JD(U).

Sharad reportedly told the meeting on Tuesday afternoon that his party was not blindly supporting demonetization and that everything would be clear within three to four days.

The latest development is being seen in the backdrop of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s Tuesday evening meeting with RJD chief Lalu Prasad. After the meeting both the leaders reportedly came out openly againstBJP.

As it is clear that Nitish Kumar is not going to BJP as the media had been speculating insiders suggest that Nitish, Lalu and Sharad are chalking out a different strategy. This is why Sharad asked opposition members to wait for three to four days.

Needless to say Sharad has been against demonetization from November 8 itself while Nitish was not very clear in his stand. Not only Sharad, many other JD(U) leaders are privately voicing concern over the likely negative impact of demonetization.
