Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior BJP leader and former deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi said that the tax revenue in the first two quarters of the current fiscal had declined due to laxity in governance.
According to him there is a severe lack of monitoring in different departments, especially finance and commercial taxes departments.
He claimed that during the NDA regime between Nov 24, 2005 and June 16, 2013 continuous reviews of departments were done and constant attention was paid to tax collections.
