Subramanian Swamy blames Arun Jaitley for cash chaos

Patna, Dec. 3: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy on Saturday once again held the Union finance minister Arun Jaitley responsible for lack of preparation before demonetization, which led to immense hardship to common people all over the country.

Swamy, who is considered close to the Prime Minister, is also a member of the strategic action committee formed by Narendra Modi that recommended demonetisation to fight black money and fake currency notes.

Speaking on the sidelines of Virat Hindu Sangam here he said it is a matter of regret that the finance ministry did not prepare well for demonetization. There would not have been any problem if it had not changed the size of currency notes.

The Virat Hindu Sangam discussed ways to resolve the Ram Temple issue within the framework of the Constitution of India.

But he is not the only senior saffron party leader to repeatedly question the way demonetization had been implemented.

RSS ideologue K N Govindacharya too expressed his displeasure at the way demonetisation had been implemented, jeopardising the lives and livelihood of the masses.

Swamy also assailed Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for opposing demonetisation and questioning an Army exrcise in her state.

In a scathing attack on her he said she needs medical attention.
