RJD MLA asks Nitish to undertake family planning campaign in Bihar
Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after chief minister Nitish Kumar pooh-poohed Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s ‘nasbandi’ after ‘notebandi’ remark an RJD MLA Bhai Birendra urged the state government to undertake sterilization campaign on line with the prohibition drive.
Talking to mediapersons he asked the chief minister to take lead and go ahead on the mission to set example for other states in the country.
According to RJD MLA checking population growth is essential for the development of the country. He said he would also urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to impose prohibition and undertake sterilization drive across the country to achieve the goal of checking population growth.
Political observers are of the view that this is Bhai Birendra’s own view and not of party as RJD chief’s own family is an extended one.
Besides, neither Nitish nor Lalu Prasad can in any circumstances back hawks in BJP like Giriraj Singh.
