All road, bridge construction dept works held up due to DeMo: Tejaswi
Patna,(BiharTimes): Deputy chief minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, who also holds the road and building construction department portfolio, said all works in his departments are held up because of demonetisation.
He said contractors are not able to pay to labourers and suppliers. This would lead to escalation in the cost of schemes.
On the other hand state cooperative minister Alok Kumar Mehta and agriculture minister Ram Vichar Rai also spoke against the notebandi.
According to Rai around 1.17 crore Bihar farmers with accounts in cooperative banks could not exchange their demonetised notes as they were not authorised to issue new notes.
