Ram Vilas faces cashless music at a tea-stall, struggles for half an hour

Patna,(BiharTimes): Union food minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday had a first hand experience of the problem of cashlessness in his own parliamentary constituency.

The Union minister stopped at a tea-stall to take a cup of tea. After sipping a hot cup of beverage he decided to adopt cashless method of transaction. But that was not so easy. The minister had to struggle for half an hour to make the payment but failed because of poor connectivity. It was later that he had to make the payment with the help of a mobile phone of one of his aides.

A visible embarrassed Ram Vilas Paswan conceded that “there is too much load as everybody is using it.” The truth actually is that this is the problem when a small minority of people have adopted cashless mode of payment. What would happen when everyone starts using it. Customers may have to wait for hours to make the payment––as outside ATMs and bank branches these days.
