Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Congress MP from Vaishali, Kishori Sinha, died in Patna on Monday after prolonged illness. She was wife of former Bihar chief minister (late) Satyendra Narayan Sinha and daughter-in-law of first deputy CM of Bihar, Anugrah Narayan Sinha.
Kishori Sinha (90) breathed her last in a private hospital here.
She is also the mother of former Delhi police commissioner and former Kerala governor Nikhil Kumar.
She was Congress MP from Vaishali twice from 1980 to 1989.
Chief minister Nitish Kumar condoled her death and announced state funeral for her. He described her as a veteran politician and social worker.
Bihar governor Ramnath Kovind, RJD chief Lalu Prasad and state Congress president and education minister Ashok Choudhary condoled her death.
