Patna,(BiharTimes): The son of JD(U) Member of Legislative Council, Dinesh Singh, was booked in a case related to the murder of a worker in Fatehpur village of Muzaffarpur district.
An FIR was lodged on Monday on the basis of a statement given by the wife of deceased. The case was registered at Kanti police station against Chottu Singh, son of the MLC.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, West, Ajay Kumar said police recovered the dead body of Suresh Sah near Chainpur canal under Kanti police station.
The wife of deceased said in her complaint that Chottu Singh had forcefully called her husband to his home late last night. She alleged that Chottu Singh was involved in illegal liquor trade.
Sah worked as a painter at the residence of MLC Dinesh Singh, had come in contact with Chottu Singh. The police investigation into the matter is underway.
