Lalu to take part in Dec 28 sit-in on demonetization
Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday said that he would take part in the sit-in organized by his party in Patna on December 28. It would be held in all the district headquarters of the state.
Making this announcement Lalu said that after the demonetization the prime minister asked people to wait for 50 days. “We did not launch the agitation immediately and gave time to the government. But now the whole ‘noteband’ exercise has flopped,” he said.
The RJD chief said that trade activities have stopped, migrant labourers are starving or committing suicide, farmers are badly hit by this exercise. Yet the government is talking of introducing cashless transaction to divert the people’s attention from the hardship. He reiterated that Narendra Modi is helping the Chinese firm by promoting cashlessness..
