Patna,(BiharTimes): Thakur Chandan Kumar Singh, a lawyer of Sitamarhi district of Bihar had sued Lord Ram for renouncing his wife Sita.
In his petition the lawyer has said that Ram tortured his wife Sita by throwing her out of the house at the instance of a washer-man.
The petition even asked as to how heartless Ran could be towards his own wife.
Singh said that his aim is not to hurt anybody’s religious sentiments. The injustice towards women began in Treta Yug, when Ram was believed to have ruled Ayodhya.
Singh believes that until and unless the women from Treta Yug are not given justice, women in Kalyug would not get justice either.
Sitamarhi, incidentally, has a big temple of Sita and the district has been named after her.
