Welder’s son from Bihar gets a job of Rs 1.02 crore per annum

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Twenty-one year old Vatsalya Singh Chauhan, a final year student from IIT Kharagpur, has bagged a lucrative job that would fetch him annual salary of Rs 1.02 crore.


Son of a welder from Sanhouli village of Khagaria district of Bihar Vatsalya did his high school from a Hindi medium government school. He scored 75 percent marks in class-XII exam and came to Kota in 2011 for coaching.


His All India Rank in IIT-JEE entrance exam in 2012 was 382. He got admission in IIT Kharagpur and opted for Computer Science.


Father Chandra Kant had to take education loan of Rs 3.50 lakh from bank for his admission in IIT. But today he is proud of his son’s achievement.
