Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar NDA stalwarts on Thursday sat on a day-long fast to protest against the hike in VAT on various items, rise in crime, and irregularities in paddy procurement.

The fast outside the BJP office was led by the leader of opposition in Bihar Assembly, Prem Kumar. Former deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar unit party chief Mangal Pandey, and former minister Nand Kishore Yadav along with the former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi took part in it.
