Patna,(BiharTimes): Three member of a family in Madhubani district of Bihar lost all their hair after taking bath from a handpump installed outside their house.

According to an ETV report, , Mohammad Hashim, claimed that his wife and two children had taken bath from the water of a handpump. Later they complained of itching around the head. After a while, they started losing their hair.

The family consulted a doctor in this regard while the authorities sent the water for test. The handpump has been sealed. Incidentally, the villagers have been using the water of handpump for quite long but no such incident occurred.

The BDO has instructed the mukhiya (village head) to install a new handpump.
