Patna,(BiharTimes): A case of extortion has been registered against former Gopalganj MP Sadhu Yadav. The case was lodged on Wednesday evening by the manager of a builder, Anil Singh.As Anil himself is facing several criminal cases and is absconding his manager lodged an FIR.

The manager claimed that Sadhu had called up Anil Singh and threatened him with dire consequences if he failed to pay Rs 50 lakh.According to SSP Manu Maharaj police is investigating the matter.However, Sadhu has denied that he had demanded extortion money from Anil Singh.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Sadhu’s sister, Rabri Devi, had snapped all the relationship with him.In 2009 he unsuccessfully contested Lok Sabha election on Congress ticket. Later he drifted towards the BJP and went on to meet Narendra Modi in 2013.
