Patna,(BiharTimes): Bharatiya Janata Party's vice president in Bihar, Visheshwar Ohja, was shot dead by unidentified men in Bhojpur district on Friday evening. He was the second BJP leader to be killed in the state in 12 hours. Earlier in morning, another BJP leader Kedarnath Singh was shot dead in Chhapra.

Ojha was killed in Sonbarsa Bazar which is situated near Ara..

He was fired by gunmen when he was returning after attending a wedding ceremony at Parsaura villag .

Ojha's driver and another person accompanying him were seriously injured in the firing.

The killing sent a shock wave in the state as it came close on the heels of the murder of LJP leader Brijnathi Singh near Kuchi Dargah in Patna City a few days back.

Hitting out at Nitish Kumar, Sushil Modi said “Chief Minister is only attending meetings to control Law & Order but criminals are out of control. His will to control crime has come to an end"

The BJP leaders have strongly condemned the incident. Leader of opposition in the state Assembly, Prem Kumar, sees a great conspiracy in the killing of leaders of the opposition parties.

State president of the party, Mangal Pandey, said that if the murder case is not solved within 72 hours and all those involved not arrested the BJP would organze a ‘chakka jam’ throughout the state.

The BJP leaders reiterated that there is ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar and alleged that it was the outcome of the alliance of JD(U) with RJD.
