Tejaswi questions media’s role in crime reporting

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar’s deputy chief minister, Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, on Saturday questioned the role of media in highlighting crime in Bihar.

Commenting after the murder of two BJP leaders on Friday he said that crimes are taking place in Jharkhand too––in fact more than Bihar. JMM and JVM leaders have been killed. Why is media highlights only Bihar. Why newsmen become sensitive only in case of Bihar, he asked.

He was referring to the murder of Jitan Horo, a central committee member of the JMM in Khunti in Ranchi.

He said that nobody would be spared as police is taking stern action against criminals.
