Patna,(BiharTimes): With the introduction of four more to and fro flights from March 27 the number of planes landing and taking off daily from the Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport would increase from 40 to 48.

Though Jet Airways would be withdraw its aircraft flying on the Kolkata-Patna route from March 27, Go Air and Indigo would operate one flight each to Bangalore via Ranchi while Indigo would introduce one flight each to Delhi and Kolkata from the same date.

Thus 24 planes would be landing and leaving Patna airport daily. Thirteen of them belong to Indigo, five to Go Air while three each to Air India and Jet Airways.
