Patna,(BiharTimes): Commenting on Mohan Bhagwat’s statement given in Kolkata on Monday Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said the RSS and BJP wanted to scrap reservations for Dalits and OBCs.
He called Bhagwat’s statement of forming a non-political committee on reservation as “extra constitutional” and added that the Sangh chief had earlier made suggestion before Bihar Assembly elections that there should be a committee to review the
reservation policy.
According to Nitish the Constitution clearly says that reservation would be given to people who are socially and educationally backward and on that basis Dalits and bakcwards have got reservation.
